Τhe journal "Surgical Chronicles" is the official journal of the Surgical Society of Northern Greece. It has been published since 1995. It publishes manuscripts in the greek language (with english abstracts) and covers the whole spectrum of surgery.

Since 2005, the journal is indexed in EMBASE/Excerpta Medica, and since 2007 in Scopus.
